• Surveying existing building conditions to document and foresee possible architectural problems.

• Generating design drawings and managing all phases of design _1. Conceptual Design   2. Design Development 3. Construction Documentation 4. Bidding 5. Construction Administration and FF&E Installation.

• Designing and specifying bespoke millwork, custom furniture and lighting fixtures, and supervising their manufacturing and installation.​

 

Procurement & Trade Coordination

• Collaborating with, coordinating, and incorporating the work of fellow professional trades: Contractors, architects, structural, civil & MEP engineers, planning, vendors, supply chain

• & inventory, and healthcare safety & infectious disease specialists — to ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion.

• Reviewing contractor submittals for accuracy, details, and finish materials.

• FF&E sourcing/specifying, selecting, budgeting, and purchasing, empowered by an extensive knowledge of various commercial furniture systems (office, hotels, retail, healthcare, residential), and inventory software.

• Recommending and purchasing art and accessories.

 

Value & Compliance

• Value engineering — slashed costs by 25% by re-evaluating design decisions, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and trades, without sacrificing quality nor design intent.

• Researching trends in areas of green building and environmental design to incorporate into commercial real estate and residential projects.

• EOC (Environment of Care) rounds — critical inspections for healthcare facilities.
